The ceremony was started by singing the national anthem of Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Philippines.  After some speech, there comes the students speech as a feedback for the program. Once again, I was honoured by the chance to deliver the speech as Indonesian representatives for SEA-TEACHER. Overall, I said that this program was a meaningful experiences to us in term of knowledge, skill, teamworks, and affection toward the others. I deeply appreciate the chance that was given to me during this program.  Afterwards, here comes the awarding of certificates to all of the participants. During the end of our program, we were busy to complete our evaluation form, self report, and student form. But still, we had to go to the school to properly finish our program. At Monday, I still have the last schedule with ABM Jobs 11 and ICT 11. When I went to the class, the students already prepared a farewell for me. Because of that, I didn't teach as usual, but was enjoying their farewell and take photos together. They were sad that I'll be leaving them soon. Some of them even prepared letters for me. On Tuesday, Ma'am Agnes comes to collect our reports and other necessities. She also told us to be ready for closing ceremony on the next day. Mr. Armand also told us to prepare some performance as a students from Indonesia. After some discussions, we decided that we'll be presenting Poco-Poco, a tradisional gymnastic from Indonesia. This week outing will be the last of our outing in Pangasinan Province. For the closing, Mr. Armand offered us to go to the Baguio at Sunday. He said there will be flower festival or Panagbenga on Sunday at Baguio. For information, Baguio is one of the highest located city in Philippines. It made that place to be a lot cooler than aby other place. It's like Malang or Bogor of Indonesia. On Saturday, we were told by Ma'am Agnes to collect our reports on Tuesday. That's why we were so busy to finish it. I, Mufti, Mitha, and Ake went to Ariel&Fe at the afternoon because there is a better internet connection and we missed the food there. We ordered chicken crispy, sate rice, and Pancit sa Bilao to have a feast there. Afterwards, we visited the Bayambang city hall to take a photo there because we'll leaving this city soon. At night, I and Ake didn't sleep at all because the van will pick us up at 4 a.m. We , as a fellow sleeper, are afraid to wake up late.

After the long trip to Bolinao and Alaminos, my body felt so tired in the next morning. The Sunday was the day for rest and prepare for the next week teaching. As usual, we still need to finish our Lesson Plan, because we need to submit our LP for every time we have the teaching schedule. During this time, all of us has become a big family there, including our friends from Thai: First, Ton, and Kie. We share our happy, sad, and struggle together during our program. In the weekdays, I still have 2 times daily schedule of teaching, and an extra 1 schedule on Wednesday. As usual, we still had to attend Monday's flag ceremony. For this week, the students from ICT 11 and ABM Jobs were open to me and some of them already exchange contact with me through the FB Messenger. And so far, Ms. Bullo didn't see any problem with me and my way of teaching the class. The challenge comes when I teach Grade 10 for Biology. Because I'm not used to teach Junior level, I thought that my less

Finally weekend is coming😊 I and the other SEA-TEACHER participant were ready to go but the bus that was supposed to pick us up didn't come until 8 a.m. They said that the bus came late because it had to pick up the other SEA-TVET from Lingayen, Urdaneta, and San Carlos. Because of that, we had to reschedule our destination. The trip to Bolinao took about 3 hours. When we arrived there, we didn't head directly to the beach. Instead, we visited the Mangrove nursery there. During the trip there, I volunteered myself to plant the mangroves but sadly I got my feet slashed by the rocks and seashells in the shore. Fortunately, there was a medic in our group so I got a first aid to my wound. After that, we listened to the official's presentation about mangrove nursery and had a lunch there. At long last, we arrived at Patar beach. The beach is so pretty with the sky-blue clear water and its white sand. I played around the shore and burried Mufti in the sand with the o

Day 12 (February 2nd, 2018)

Hello, guys. Today, I was not feeling well because I caught some cold. Fortunately, I didn't have any schedule during Friday. So, I just spend my day in the dormitory, resting. I also took a chance to wash my clothes with the washing machine which is provided by the PSU in our dormitory. In the afternoon, Mr. Armand came to our dormitory to inform us about the next outing. The outing will be held on Saturday, and we'll visit Bolinao and Alaminos City. The plan is to visit the Patar beach which is famous to its white sand, and the Hundred Island near Alaminos City. For that, we need to be ready before 6 a.m., because the other participants from SEA-TVET program will be joining us in this outing.

Day 11 (February 1st, 2018)

Today is Thursday. It doesn't have that many differences with the previous days during weekday. As usual, I have 2 schedules, ABM Jobs 11 at 8 a.m. and ICT 11 at 11 a.m. In both of them, I'll be teaching Chemistry with the topic of Electron Configuration. All of the students there already becomes friendly to me, especially the ones in ICT 11. The students are active and able to receive my lesson.  After teaching, I went back to the Faculty Room with Ms. Bullo. There, she told me about her evaluation towards my practice teaching. Overall, she said I've shown a mastery to the topic but need some improvement for the teaching method to make the students become more involved in the lesson. Gotta keep it going for the next practice teaching!

Day 10 (January 31st, 2018)

Wednesday is a long and busy day for me because I had to teach on 3 different classes with 2 subject, Biology and Chemistry. First, I went to the PSU Integrated High School before 8 a.m. After a little conversation with Ms. Bullo about my preparation, I headed to the ABM Jobs classroom. There, I found many students came late and it seems it was normal because this is the earliest class in the morning. The students in ABM Jobs are a little more passive than the ICT 11 students, but it seems they’re a bit smarter.  I  finished my lesson there and hurried back to the faculty room because I have a class at 9 a.m. at Grade 10. There, I was told by the other teachers that my supervising teacher, Mr. Rosario, had already left for the classroom. Then, I went there to assist Euis Paramitha from Mulawarman University. The topic for today is Genetic and we used discussion method to help the students during the lesson. The Grade 10 is more active than the other classes because they are still in

This day will be the day that I started practice teaching in PSU Integrated High School. At 8 a.m., I still had to assist Ms. Bullo during the long quiz in the ABM Jobs class. There, I helped Ms. Bullo distributing the questions sheet and watching the students while they were doing their long quiz. The quiz was a little bit disturbed because the class was bathed in sunlight that make the students feeling uncomfortable. At 9 a.m., the quiz ended and I collected the students' answer sheet. Afterwards, at 11 a.m., I started my first teaching in ICT 11 class. The topic that I’ll be teaching is Quantum Numbers. I opened my lesson with an introduction from me, and gave some questions. The one who can answer my question will be awarded with Indonesian currency. All the students were excited during my lesson. Afterwards, I continued to explain about the quantum numbers and had a great time teaching, even though the topic is different with my major. At 12 a.m, I finished my class

There, I assisted her during the long quiz by keep on watch to the students. After the class, I went back to the dorm to finish up my lesson plan for tomorrow class.

Mr. Maynard is the driver for PSU van and he’ll be our driver today. Then, they asked Ake to go to the market to buy meats, fishes, chickens, seasonings, and also beverages. After all of us were ready to go, we got into the van and came to pick Ake at the market. Then, we started our trip to Tondaligan Beach in Dagupan. It will took around 2 hours until we arrived in Dagupan. Around 11 am. we arrived at Tondaligan Beach. There, we unloaded all of our things for BBQ party. Meanwhile the boys are preparing for the grills, the girls are cleaning the ingredients. Mr. Manzano and Mr. Meynard also helped us to prepare the grills. After some trial and errors, we lighted up the grills. We started the BBQ party with chickens. The big chuncks of chicken are marinated then grilled with some light soysauce seasoning. Day 6 (January 27th, 2018)

Today is a free day during my first weekend here in Bayambang. Not much that I did this day because I only stayed in the resort. As usual, I continued working on my lesson plan. Since I’ve already submitted my Chemistry lesson plan to Ms. Bullo, then I only need to revise my Biology lesson plan. I gradually revised the part where Mr. Rosario had corrected with his red-inked pen on my previous lesson plan. I also downloaded some short video clip from superheroes movie as a part of my lesson for Genetic Mutation. At the afternoon, Mr. Manzano came to visit us. He told us that we must prepare ourselves for tomorrow’s outing. The destination is Tondaligan Beach in Dagupan, northwest from our current location in Bayambang. It is one of popular tourist spots in Pangasinan Province. Mr. Manzano also told us to collect ₱150 for buying our food and beverages because we’ll hold BBQ party there. After collect the money, we decided that Ake will go to buy those ingredients tomorrow morning. Befo
